Emergency services including Inspira EMS & Ground Transport and Gloucester Township Squad 88 responded to the scene. A tow truck was also dispatched to manage the aftermath.

    WILKES-BARRE, PA – A domestic dispute in Wilkes-Barre escalated into violence Wednesday morning, resulting in the arrest of 29-year-old Victor Otero.

    The incident occurred at 7:35 a.m. on South Main Street, where city police responded to a call about a confrontation at a local residence. Upon arrival, officers were informed by a 30-year-old woman that she had been threatened with a knife by Otero during a heated argument.

    The victim stated that during the altercation, the suspect grabbed a kitchen knife and threatened to “cut her from ear to ear.”

    According to the victim, the altercation escalated when Otero allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and threatened her severely. Fearing for her safety, she managed to escape the residence and contact authorities. Otero was subsequently arrested and taken to the city police station for further processing.
