Ohio Lt. Gov. Jon Husted Talks VP Pick JD Vance

Ohio Lt. Gov. Jon Husted said he believes vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance will be a great partner on the Trump ticket because he grew up working class and understands what people need.

The lieutenant governor also said he thinks there will be many more Republican voters in this election because he believes working-class Americans want to see change amid inflation and public safety concerns.

Husted discussed his support for law enforcement and the military and said he worries about mayors in Democratic-run cities. When asked about his own political goals, Husted said he hopes to run for governor, but that for now he wants to focus solely on Trump winning the November election.
