Pinpoint Weather: Warm with daily showers and storms

After a few scattered showers and thunderstorms tonight, it will be cloudy and foggy tonight with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Showers and thunderstorms are likely to be scattered throughout the day.

There is a risk of excessive rainfall which may lead to flooding of rivers, creeks, streams and low-lying urban areas with poor drainage.

There is a chance of rain every day this week, with above-normal precipitation expected until the end of the month.

Total precipitation between 11pm on Sunday and 11pm on Wednesday will range from 1 to 2 inches (2.5 to 5 cm), with most of the precipitation falling in southern Piedmont.

On Monday, temperatures will be normal for July 22.

Temperatures are likely to be at or above normal through the end of the month, meaning afternoon temperatures will be in the 80s to around 90 degrees.
