Press Release, City of North Branford

The North Branford City Council has approved three designs for the public to choose and vote on for the official flag of the City of North Branford. The three designs each feature the approved city emblem in the center, one with a purple background, one with a blue background, and one with a red, white, and blue background.

The three flags will be on display at this year’s annual Potato and Corn Festival at 290 Forest Road, Northford, on Friday 2 August, Saturday 3 August and Sunday 4 August. Visitors will be able to view the three flag options and vote electronically on their mobile device for the flag of their choice. The results of the vote will be provided to the City Council at its August 20 meeting.

The winning flag design will be used as the official flag for the City of North Branford and will be flown at municipal facilities. After the flag is selected, a durable 5×7 nylon version of the chosen flag will be made available for residents to purchase and display in their homes to show their community pride.

Be sure to check out the flags you can choose from at this year’s PoCo Festival and cast your vote!
