TikTok Contests Announced in Pakistan

Interested participants have until 00:00 hours on August 8, 2024 to submit their entries for participation in competitions organized by the Federal Government of Pakistan.

ISLAMABAD: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-July 23^rdThe federal government on Tuesday announced a series of TikTok contests to celebrate Independence Day in August.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting shared the announcement on TikTok, outlining the details of the contest.

Participants can create roles on various themes including Pakistan’s stability, national unity and the role of the public, the road to independence, the country’s challenges and solutions and the aspirations and achievements of the youth under the theme Azm-e-Aali Shaan.

The prizes consist of Rs100,000 for the first place, Rs75,000 for the second place and Rs50,000 for the third place.

Participants must adhere to certain guidelines in order to participate.

TikTok Contest Guidelines:

• The content must be original and reflect the participant’s creativity.
• The use of proper language and national dress is required.
• Reels can be produced in any local language.
• Respect for local culture and norms is essential.
• Background, music and environment must be appropriate.
• National monuments should be depicted with respect.
• The message must be clear.
• Any content deemed disrespectful will be disqualified.

How to participate:

• Make TikTok videos.
• Tag the roles with @DEMP_MOIB.
• Make sure you have as many likes and shares as possible before August 8, 2024.
• Interested participants have until 00:00 on August 8, 2024 to submit their entries.
