Law & Order Finds New Lieutenant for Season 24

Law & Order Finds New Lieutenant for Season 24

The Law & Authority Cast changes again. Camryn Manheim is leaving the show. It seems like her last episode was the season 23 finale, so now we’re left wondering why her character left. While we get answers to those questions, we get the introduction of a new lieutenant.

TV Line announces that Maura Tierney will join Law & Authority Season 24 as a series regular. She will replace Lt. Kate Dixon on the precinct.

At this point, the details of the character are still unknown. We don’t even have a character name yet. All we know is that she will fill the gap left by Dixon.

If you want to see Tierney in action now, you’ll have to go to the cinema. She’s in the film Whirlwindswhich is currently taking over the Box Office. You can also go to THERE to see her 10-year role on that NBC series.

Of course, fans want to know what’s going on with Dixon. She’s a fan-favorite character, so it doesn’t make sense to just get rid of her, unless Manheim wanted to leave the show. It’s unclear who made the decision at this point.

So far we don’t know what happened to Dixon. She didn’t give any sign that she wanted to leave the police station. Of course, Law & Authoritylike many of Dick Wolf’s shows, has a bad habit of not really explaining character exits. Instead of giving them a proper send-off, we find out they’ve simply moved on to a different location, especially if the character exit is a creative choice.

In some cases, such as in Chicago Police Departmentthe characters are just forgotten. Let’s hope that’s not the case in Law & Authority.
