Noida wakes up with dense clouds and heavy showers; check IMD forecast

Noida: Parts of the city woke up to light showers in the early hours of Wednesday, bringing some relief from the summer heat. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the Gautam Buddh Nagar weather station has forecast generally cloudy skies with one or two showers or thundershowers. The maximum temperature is expected to be 35 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 27 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity fluctuated between 92 percent and 99 percent.

Amidst the humidity in the NCR region, the coming week is likely to witness a few light showers with thundershowers. On July 25, the city is expected to witness partly cloudy skies with one or two showers or thundershowers. The maximum temperature is expected to be 35 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 27 degrees Celsius. Later, on July 26 and 27, Gautam Buddh Nagar/Noida is likely to witness generally cloudy skies with light rain. The maximum temperature is expected to range between 36 and 37 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to remain constant at 28 degrees Celsius.

Finally, the city is forecast to have partly cloudy skies on July 28 and 29 with the possibility of rain or thunderstorms. Temperatures are expected to remain constant, with a high of 37 degrees Celsius and a low of 27 degrees Celsius.

Delhi also had rain today

Neighbouring Delhi city also saw moderate showers in the early hours of Wednesday. The IMD has issued a yellow alert for thunderstorm and lightning in the state.
