Sito Narcisse Sends Letter of Interest for Position as East Baton Rouge School Principal

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Sito Narcisse, who stepped down as superintendent of East Baton Rouge Parish Schools in January, has submitted a letter of interest for the same position he left earlier this year.

Narcisse said in a statement that given his knowledge of the system, budget and current initiatives, he would “get to work immediately.” He also said he would “like to work with the EBR team to ensure a strong start to the 2025 school year.”

The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board held a special meeting on Tuesday, July 23, to discuss the search for a superintendent. The board voted to extend the application period.

The school board is expected to appoint the new director during a special meeting on Wednesday, July 24.
