CHANDIGARH: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Tuesday termed the Budget 2024-25 as the beginning of a new chapter in the national economy.
Chugh said in a statement that the budget aims to give new strength and dynamism to the economy.
The budget focuses mainly on infrastructure development, which will lead to Viksit Bahrat.
The budget also focuses on skill enhancement of the youth. It is an expenditure-based budget, which will create new jobs for the generations, he added. The budget offers benefits to the salaried class. The standard deduction has been increased by 50 per cent. Also, there is a change in tax slabs in the new tax regime, which will help the general public reduce their tax payments. The Modi government has also offered to take many steps, which will help in reducing litigation and these will come as a huge relief to the common masses, he noted. Chugh said that this visionary budget will help all sections of the society and take the nation to new heights. “It will make India a leading economy in the world,” he added.
