The Government of Punjab has allocated 50 acres for the construction of a depot for the Chandigarh Tricity Metro project. This strategic land grant is a significant milestone in the development of a modern, efficient public transport solution for the city and its surroundings.

The allotted land will serve as the location for the depot, which is crucial for the maintenance and operation of the metro trains. The depot will ensure smooth operation of the metro system, which will go a long way towards the success of the project.
