BJYM organizes torchlight procession in Dhar to honor soldiers

Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): A torchlight procession under the aegis of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha marked the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas on Thursday.

The BJYM commemorated the courage and bravery of the country’s brave soldiers. Members of soldiers’ families, representatives and residents participated.

Ganga Pandey, state vice-president of Yuva Morcha, Manoj Somani, BJP district president Deepak Tinu Jain, BJP co-media chief, Sardar Meda, district panchayat president and Jaya Surya, district president of Yuva Morcha, took part in the march.

The procession, shouting patriotic slogans, started from Moti Bagh Chowk and moved through the main streets to the Lalbag Vikram Gyan Mandir.

In his address, Manoj Somani said that July 26 is a historic day as on this day in 1999 brave Indian soldiers defeated Pakistani soldiers in the Kargil War.

Deepak Tinu Jain also commemorated the sacrifices of Indian soldiers and said that despite adverse circumstances, our brave soldiers added a historical chapter to the immortal story of valor. “With moist eyes, I pay emotional tribute to all the martyred soldiers, who were martyred fighting for the country but did not allow the enemies to set a foot on Indian soil,” he added.

BJP district general secretary Prakash Dhakad, BJP district vice-president Vishwas Pandey and others were present.
