Property records show that three of the eight homes, two in Miami Township and one in Dayton, are owned by Guo Qiang Lin or a company he owns.

Other public documents reviewed by the I-Team show that Lin’s company is registered with the Ohio Secretary of State’s office at an address on Watoga Drive in Liberty Township.

It is located a 50-minute drive from the neighborhood south of Dayton in Butler County.

Public records show the home on Cantata Court in Miami Township that officers searched Friday is owned by Yi Mei Lin, who lives two doors down from Guo in Liberty Township.

In Butler County, federal investigators have searched at least four homes.

The coordinated raids in two counties in the Miami Valley are part of a wide-ranging criminal investigation in which federal investigators are searching for evidence in what they call a case of financial crime and labor exploitation.

News Center 7 has reviewed U.S. District Court archives in Dayton for documents related to this investigation, including search warrants served by Homeland Security.

As of Friday evening, nothing had been made public, meaning documents may be sealed.
