Devin Booker shared his Paris 2024 adventure in an in-depth video on X, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at his second Olympic Games. The Team USA basketball guard took full advantage of the Olympic Committee’s policy that allows athletes to document their experiences under certain guidelines.

The journey began with Booker riding a scooter through the bustling streets of Paris, setting the stage for an adventure of discovery. The scene quickly transitioned to his dorm room in the Olympic Village, where a roaring crowd demanded his attention as he stood on the balcony, camera in hand, singing along with his enthusiastic supporters.

The video was an all-star affair, featuring cameos from Team USA’s top players, including LeBron James, Sabrina Ionescu, Steph Curry and Diana Taurasi. “Nobody has a gold medal like her over there,” Booker joked, as he turned the camera to Taurasi, who was deep in conversation with Kevin Durant.

Before the Games, they were allowed to take pictures of themselves, but were not allowed to take pictures of others without permission. They also banned AI-generated images due to the dangers and confusion, images of medical areas for privacy and safety, and videos longer than two minutes.

The shooting guard cleverly circumvented this restriction by stitching together several short clips, creating a seamless and engaging story while staying within the guidelines. His video became an instant hit, with over 294,000 fans watching the behind-the-scenes look at the Olympic experience from his unique perspective.

Booker captured moments of camaraderie, like when he boarded the team bus and said, “That’s a really TOP interaction,” while Taurasi joked with Anthony Edwards about his constant snacking and later gave LeBron a warm hug.

The grand opening ceremony was a highlight, with Booker capturing the team sailing down the Seine River alongside the 592 athletes of Team USA. The video concluded with a stunning finale, with Booker standing beneath the iconic Olympic rings lit up on the Eiffel Tower, an American flag in the background and proudly wearing a USA basketball cap.

Team USA will compete in Group C with Puerto Rico, South Sudan and Serbia. Their first group stage match is against Serbia in Lille on July 28 at 10:15 a.m. ET.

Booker has been a standout player for Team USA, showcasing his skills and value to the team on the international stage. At the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo, he was instrumental in the team’s success, averaging 9.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
