NYC’s Summer Streets begins extended hours today in Queens and Staten Island

NEW YORKNew York’s Summer Streets returns for 2024, kicking off Saturday in Queens and Staten Island.

This year, the event will have extended hours. That means that on select Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., miles of New York City streets will be open in both directions for people to play, walk, and bike.

Summer Streets takes place in all five boroughs, with Manhattan on August 3, 10 and 17, and Brooklyn and The Bronx on August 24.
