Faversham began their promotion to the Southern Counties East Premier Division with a comfortable home win against Glebe on Saturday.

Goals from winger Kieron Campbell and summer signing Tashi-Jay Kwayie put them two goals up inside 20 minutes before they wrapped up the game in second-half injury time at Salters Lane, with James Fitchett firing into his own net and then substitute Stefan Payne scoring in the Lilywhites’ 4-0 win.

Elias Ahmed scored twice in injury time to help Sutton Athletic turn a deficit into a draw against promotion contenders Whitstable.

Danny Powell put Ryan Huckle’s side ahead, but a goal from summer signing Jerson Dos Santos and a second-half double from striker Harvey Smith – the second a penalty – put the Oystermen 3-1 up.

But Sutton Athletic weren’t done yet and Ahmed ensured they took home a share of the spoils of the 3-3 draw.

Lydd, who parted ways with Scott Porter as manager just days before the start of the campaign, lost 1-0 at VCD.

Charlie Heatley scored the only goal of the game midway through the second half.

Stansfeld came back to grab another point in the closing stages of the 1-1 draw at Bearsted.

After defender Mo Buhari was sent off for Stansfeld before half-time, Eniola Hassan put the home side ahead, but substitute Jack Mahon scored again in the 96th minute.

Lordswood beat play-off finalists Corinthian 2-1 last season in an exciting match.

Bradley Schafer put Nicky Southall’s side ahead after just nine minutes and striker Jake Embery doubled the lead just four minutes later.

Just 10 minutes into the second half, Frederick Aikon pulled one back and in the 65th minute Lordswood playmaker Callum Peck was sent off, giving Michael Golding’s side further hope.

But seven minutes before Hugo Taylor received his marching orders, numerical parity was restored.

Midfielder Jack Hopkins scored the only goal in Punjab United’s 1-0 win over Fisher.

It was an honourable mention, given the four-goal match between Hollands & Blair and Holmesdale. Lewis Heywood-Oriogun broke the deadlock in the seventh minute, before a penalty from defender Chris Edwards and a goal from striker Dean Grant put Blair 2-1 up at half-time.

But Heywood-Oriogun scored his second goal midway through the second period to share the spoils.

Goals from Jacob Feasey and Siji Akinlusi gave Tunbridge Wells a 2-0 win at Kennington, but Adam Phillips was sent off just five minutes after coming on as a substitute.

All the goals in the match between Rusthall and newly promoted Larkfield & New Hythe came in the first period, which was won 2-1.

Ben Davisson and Chibueze Innocent made it 2-0 within 26 minutes and although Jack Kirby scored another goal for the home side, it was not enough.

The match ended 2-2 between Snodland and Erith & Belvedere.

Tommy Whitnell scored for the Deres to cancel out Todd Brand’s opening goal in the 11th minute, before two penalties followed.

Stanley Oldfield scored from the penalty spot for Snodland in the 72nd minute, but Ernie Cheeseman did the same 12 minutes later.
