Double Shooting NW Detroit – Motor City 911

Sturtevant & Lawton in the 10th District

Detroit’s NW Side 22:45 07-27-24: Detroit PD’s 10th Precinct is investigating a double shooting in the 2900 block of Sturtevant x Lawton. Arriving scouts discovered two people shot at the scene, a man with a GSW in his hand and a woman with a GSW in her thigh, according to dispatch audio.

DFD’s Engine 40 (MFR) and DEMS Medic 1 were also dispatched to the scene. No further information at this time.
