BookMyCargo enters B2C logistics segment; targets Rs 100 Cr revenue in FY30

Logistics player BookMyCargo has entered the domestic business-to-consumer (B2C) segment to boost its market presence. The company is targeting a turnover of Rs 100 crore by FY2030, a company official said.

Founded in 2016 in Gurugram, BookMyCargo (BMC) operates in the business-to-business (B2B) sector, serving clients across industries such as FMCG, consumer goods and pharmaceuticals.

“In 2016, the demand for same-day deliveries was less than 1%. This is expected to increase to 22% by 2025. We entered the B2C segment to tap this growth and expand our presence,” said JD Yadav, Founder, BookMyCargo.

The company has also started B2C services in Thailand, he said. The company’s new service covers 75 provinces in the Southeast Asian country.

According to Yadav, the company’s turnover stood at Rs 12.3 crore in March 2024.

“With the new segment, we aim to almost double the turnover this fiscal year and target a turnover of Rs 100 crore in the next five years,” he added.

On the Union Budget, he said the capital outlay of Rs 11.11 lakh crore announced by the Finance Minister for infrastructure will increase investment in development projects, leading to millions of new employment opportunities.

The government’s decision to set up more e-commerce export centres and integrated industrial parks will boost industrial production, boost domestic consumption and improve trade and logistics activities in the country, he said.
