Report: Hezbollah Has Devastating Iranian EMP Weapon

Now that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed that Hezbollah will pay “a high price” for Saturday’s attack, fears of retaliation have been renewed that could spark a potentially devastating war.

Hezbollah reportedly has an Iranian electromagnetic pulse weapon so destructive that even “the cockroaches won’t survive,” Rotem Mey-Tal, CEO of Asgard Systems and a developer of military weapons, told The Jerusalem Post.

“In my personal opinion, this is not only an escalation on the map of potential threats, but it should also be considered a threat that is close to a non-conventional weapons threat,” he concluded. “Just as no sovereign country would tolerate a non-conventional weapons threat, the same applies here.

“That’s because by 2024, electronic processors will manage and operate all vital systems in the State of Israel: infrastructure, medical systems, security and military applications.

“Remember the analogy from the 1960s that in a nuclear explosion only the cockroaches would survive. In the same vein, in an electromagnetic attack the ‘cockroaches’ (a nickname for electronic components in electrical circuits) will not survive this time.

“It will affect all of us in our daily lives and our emergency preparedness. Just like in a poker game, when someone raises a bet on the table, everyone stops everything and looks him in the eye to understand what his next move is or whether he is bluffing.

“I think we have to look them straight in the eye.”

As Hezbollah’s deadly assault on Israel raises the stakes north of Israel, Israel has been battling Hamas terrorists to the south in Gaza. Hamas terrorists used the October 7 hostages as human shields, Israeli officials told Newsmax, to put global pressure on Israel not to retaliate for its terror attacks.

According to Mey-Tal, Hezbollah now faces the threat of a devastating EMP weapon.

“I suspect the threat is more focused on bases, strategic facilities, desalination systems and the Israeli power grid,” he told the Post. “However, it is impossible to say exactly, since such a weapon has never been used in history, so there are no sources or references to learn from.”
