The Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is dedicated to delivering urban-level facilities to rural areas. The state government’s initiatives have not only made life easier for the common people but have also saved valuable time for the population.

Speaking at the 15th CSC Day event today, Social Justice, Empowerment, and Minorities Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur, highlighted the significance of Common Service Centers.

These centers play a crucial role in aiding citizens in rural and remote regions, offering a wide range of services that promote digital inclusion, access to Government and private sector services, financial accountability, e-governance, entrepreneurship, skill development, healthcare and education.

Dr. Kaur emphasized the vital role of Common Service Centers (CSCs) in bridging the digital divide and fostering timely development. She noted that CSCs offer essential services, including UIDAI-Aadhaar, guest houses, financial services (banking, loans, Digi-Pay, and insurance), travel services (train, bus, air booking), forex, and DTH services.

Additionally, Common Service Centers provide Government services like Ayushman Bharat, e-Shram, Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma, and Pradhan Mantri Maan Dhan Yojana, as well as utility bill payments, tele-legal services, educational services (Bal Vidyalaya, Udaan, CSC Skills, government exams, Olympiads), healthcare services, agriculture services (Pradhan Mantri Kisan), E-Sign for defense pensioners, Gramin E-Stores, and more.
