Governor Healey Signs State Budget for Fiscal Year 2025

BOSTON (WWLP) – Governor Healey will sign the state budget Monday after a months-long process that was approved by the House of Representatives and the Senate.

According to Healey’s office, this final version of the budget includes record funding for a number of programs, including the MBTA and statewide transportation, plus free community college for all and a disaster resilience fund.

The budget would also make permanent Covid-era child care subsidies for those who need them, known as “C-3” subsidies. This budget covers fiscal year 2025.
