TikTok Is Losing It Over The Most Unexpected ‘Olympic Village Love Story’

From what we’ve heard about the Olympic Village Dining Hall, some of the food is under-seasoned and the lines are massive. For the past week, athletes competing in the Olympics in Paris have turned to TikTok to express their grievances with the dining hall food, but one Olympian has managed to find a bright spot.

Henrik Christiansen, a swimmer from Norway, has lit up TikTok thanks to his obsession with the dining hall’s chocolate muffins. And if the muffins are as delicious as they are massive, we totally get it.

In one of his TikToks, Christiansen can be seen devouring a chocolate muffin while a fellow athlete sitting across from him confesses, “I feel like you’re just here for the chocolate muffin.”

The video received over 2 million views and left some users wondering where they can get their hands on the “life-changing muffins.”

“Who is the baker for these muffins? I gotta try one now. Pretty soon you’ll be doing muffin deals in the streets of Paris so the regular folks can experience these life changing muffins,” one fan wrote.

And yes, in case you’re wondering, Christiansen is calling himself the “Olympic Muffin Man.”

After the swimmer was spotted clutching four chocolate muffins in a GTA-inspired TikTok, one person declared his love affair with muffins “the only Olympic Village love story that matters.” And we have to agree.

Muffins aside, Christiansen competed in the Men’s 800m Freestyle earlier today and placed sixth. He’ll be swimming again on Saturday, August 3, if you’d like to root for the Olympic Muffin Man.
