Why are you running for this position? My decision to seek re-election was based on many factors. The desire to continue working with the Dundee Township Board members and staff to serve our residents was paramount. The highlight of this work for me has always been connecting with the people who make up our community.

What do you think is the biggest challenge facing Frenchtown Township and what can be done about it? The Dundee Township Volunteer Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency services to the entire Dundee community. These hardworking, dedicated individuals donate countless hours to serve their fellow citizens. Supporting their efforts by providing up-to-date firefighting equipment, essential safety gear, a fleet of reliable fire trucks, and a well-maintained fire station is an extremely high priority for the Dundee Township Board. Steeply rising costs, increasing state training requirements, and steadily increasing call volumes are factors that contribute to this challenge. Together with Fire Department leadership, we are exploring options for the future as we strive to meet the needs of today.

Why should people vote for you? First, I want to thank all of the people who take the time to vote. Voting is a privilege and a responsibility. I am grateful for those who accept that responsibility. I am also grateful for those who do their research by reading these candidate biographies. I want Dundee voters to know that I am running for re-election because I believe my experience is valuable to Dundee Township. I am running for re-election because I find working on challenges interesting and rewarding. Finally, I am running for re-election because I am genuinely interested in serving the citizens of our community.
