Training from firefighter to Mepar Transport in Kocaeli

KOCAELI (IGFA) – The Kocaeli Municipality Fire Department continues its training and awareness activities regarding fires that may occur in industrial facilities. As part of the training, an Emergency Group Training was organized for MEPAR Transportation employees in Gölcük District. The training, which was provided by the Metropolitan Fire Brigade Fire Prevention and Training Department, Training Unit KOBITEM, lasted 1 day.

FIRE INTERVENTION

In the training, information was given such as “Combustion and fire”, “Hazards of the fireplace”, “Extinguishing considerations and techniques”, “Style of action in emergency situations”. In addition to theoretical information, practical information was also given about the types and principles of use of “Portable fire extinguishers”. After that, the participants showed their skills by intervening in the fuel fire with fire extinguishers.
