The Tatarahmet Village Bridge in Kocaeli is being renovated

KOCAELI (IGFA) – Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is renovating the Tatarahmet Village Bridge on the cluster road connecting the Bulduk district of İzmit district and the Tatarahmet district of Kandıra district. In this context, the Metropolitan Municipality will bring the new bridge needed to the region as soon as possible after the existing bridge was damaged by heavy rains. The existing bridge, which had damage to its support systems and was at risk of collapsing, was closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic by the Metropolitan teams. The production of the new bridge, which is expected to be 21 meters long and 12 meters wide with prefabricated reinforced concrete beams, will begin immediately after the tender.

SECRETARY GENERAL BARACLI RECEIVES INFORMATION

The bridge, which connects many villages and is in danger, was opened by the Secretary General of the Metropolitan Municipality, Dr. Hayri Baraçlı, examined it on site and received information from the technical officer. During the examination, in which Deputy Secretary General Numan Balaman also participated, Secretary General Baraçlı instructed the relevant technical group to build the new bridge as soon as possible.
