Leader Büyükakın investigated Derince Cemevi’s construction

KOCAELI (IGFA) – The Metropolitan Municipality, which has supported the construction of many places of worship throughout Kocaeli and brought valuable works to the city in this context, is building the Cemevi in ​​​​Derince district, where our Alevi citizens can fulfill their duties in peace. Metropolitan Mayor Tahir Büyükakın, who personally examined the ongoing project on site, received information from the technical teams about the latest situation in Derince Cemevi.

IT WILL BE SUITABLE FOR KOCAELİ

Mayor Büyükakın stated that the five-storey Cemevi, built in Derince Sopalı district, will meet a valuable need in the region. Mayor Büyükakın said during the inspection that Cem Foundation General Director Kadir Polat, Cem Foundation Eastern Anatolia and Southeast Anatolia Regional Coordinator Taylan Çokyiğit, Yenikent Cemevi President Aynur Güneşli were accompanied by Çayırova Cemevi Leader Halil İbrahim Araz, Gebze Cemevi President Deliver Yıldız, Metropolitan Municipality Cemevi Coordinator Keyifli Beyazgül and Metropolitan Technical Officer.

Mayor Büyükakın said that they attach great importance to creating areas where citizens can pray and said: “Kocaeli is the capital of peace. It is the city of unity and solidarity. For this reason, we attach great importance to the demands of our people for the construction of religious areas in our city, which is a mosaic of Anatolia. Kocaeli has been united in love for many years. We always contribute to the brotherhood of our country through unity and solidarity, and we will continue to do so. As the president of everyone, we run where it is necessary and beautify our city together with our people. “Today we support the Cemevi demands of our Alevi brothers in Derince, and we will continue to do so,” he said.
