Back to school is a celebration

The Alamosa School District held the first of three Back to School Bash student registration events on Monday at the Tierra Nueva Apartments on Craft Drive. On Tuesday, the registration event continues at the Century Mobile Home Park at 17th and State Avenue in Alamosa at 4:30 p.m. On Wednesday, registration continues at the Alamosa School District Family Center at the Shooting Stars Cultural and Leadership Center at 807 Ross Ave. and at Historic Zapata Park for a large community celebration. Backpacks full of school supplies were distributed to students and will be available at the other registration events while supplies last.
